End-of-life luminaires: Taking our responsibilities seriously - a panel discussion
With the recent launch of our product buy-back scheme, we’re keen to keep pushing the agenda of sustainability and #thecirculareconomy within the lighting industry (and the wider world). So we’re pleased to be joining industry experts for a panel discussion hosted by Recolight to discuss just that, looking at ways to extend the life of lighting through reuse, refurbishment, extended warranties and leasing.
How do we truly make lighting a part of the circular economy? What happens to light fittings once they’re no longer required? Could they be reused repurposed, upgraded or returned to the original manufacturer?
Our co-founder Chris Miller will be joining Bob Bohannon, president of the Society of Light and Lighting, John Bullock, publisher and editor of The Light Review, Nigel Harvey, CEO of Recolight, Ray Molony, online editor Lux Review, and others, to discuss making these opportunities a reality for the lighting industry.
The panel discussion is free to attend with a Q&A on the day. We look forward to seeing you there.
