Salavged Army field floodlight

Sensational one off ex army field floodlight by Dutch military manufacturer 'Philps Usfa NV' converted into an imposing feature pendant. Circa 1960. Polished aluminium two part enclosure with brass detailing, clear glass protective screen and integral highly polished reflector. Original manufacturers plaque retained. Supplied with new bayonet (B22) lamp holders, 2mtrs of industrial steel suspension chain (Tri-suspension system) elephant grey braided cable and ceiling mounting plate.   

Philips Usfa was founded shortly after WWII, when Philips acquired the activities of some German-lead manufacturers of military products. It soon became an important supplier of equipment for the Dutch Department of Defense and was located in a large factory at Meerenakkerweg in Eindhoven, Holland.
