SkinFlint Reclaimed Lighting

SkinFlint are dealers in reclaimed lighting and salvaged lights from the 20th Century with an emphasis on industrial fixtures. We specialise in lighting products of a simple and clean lined nature predominantly from 1900-1960. So much design and production from the middle of the 20th century appears as fresh and modern today as it did when first conceived, making it ideal for both contemporary and period interiors.

We are particularly strong on unusual one-off finds; reclaiming industrial lighting, recycling lights and sourcing good runs and quantities of items, making us a useful resource for both domestic projects and larger scale commercial projects such as bars, retail outlets and restaurants. Our diverse and ever changing stock encompasses all areas of salvaged lighting; from pendants to lighting for the wall or ceiling, to floor lights through to lights for specific tasks such as reading and working.

All the lighting items are individually sourced from the UK and across Europe by company directors Chris and Sophie Miller. We try wherever possible to reclaim or recycle lighting items leaving them  in their original state, where, due to the ravages of time this is not possible the lights are lovingly restored by a team of local and dedicated Cornwall lighting fabricators, ensuring the essence and character of the product is never lost.

Dependent upon the nature of the item and wherever possible, we refurbish lighting to accept the latest modern day energy efficient light sources. We are also able to offer a full design service enabling us to undertake modifications of products to suit specific installation requirements.
