A superb example of Victorian architecture in South West London.
Skinflint were approached to design a conventional lighting scheme, whilst complimenting the original interior architectural details through the supply of original reclaimed feature lights, for this beautiful Victorian detached property in London’s fashionable SW20.
The meticulous two-year refurbishment of the 5 floor property resulted in a beautifully varied lighting scheme spreading across all the floors and the extensive external areas of the property.
The core spaces are predominantly illuminated through a mixture of LED and fluorescent sources with feature lighting, including 1930s opaline glassware, installed throughout the circulation areas and some of our naval bulkheads within the nautically themed children’s bathrooms.
An extensive external lighting scheme was developed to illuminate the long established oak trees and newly planted areas. Original 1920s street light columns were sourced and refurbished for the driveway and approach so as to match the existing street lights within the area.
A great client, design team and end result.
