The Stable, Whitechapel
The pizza, pie and cider chain, The Stable, has opened its first branch in the capital city. The Whitechapel eaterie has a bold interior with a number of illuminated wall features, neon lighting, and brick walls brought to life with art by a French illustrator.
Reclaimed lighting supplied by skinflint is very much at home in the pared back, worn interior. The 1950s vented enamel shades by GEC, originally from a pottery in Stoke on Trent, illuminate the main bar and add a useful element of uplighting to the space.
