Now a flourishing chain of bakeries, Gail’s has found a name for itself in producing artisan bread and takes pride in using traditional methods with the finest ingredients. Baking around thirty types of bread every day they have an ever-changing seasonal offering of loaves.
Tucked behind the Tate Modern, the Neo Bankside bakery has a large communal dining space and open kitchen with a relaxed industrial interior and emphasis on natural materials. Skinflint supplied a number of their British industrial fluorescent fixtures by GEC. These elegant sleek products were originally installed in a large 1950s pottery in Stoke on Trent and they have now been employed to good effect above the point of sale and main serving counters.
