Light Colour Changer

A colour mixing wall wash luminaire designed to create pure unsaturated washes of light. 

Undertaken for Isometrix Lighting and Design, an extruded aluminum R.G.B colour mixing wall wash luminaire, originally designed for each bedroom within the Philippe Starck boutique hotel – St Martin’s Lane, Covent Garden, London was subsequently redesigned for mass production.

Product Description: The 12V system utilizes a series of tungsten halogen lamp sources with Red, Green and Blue dichroic filters. The user is able to either manually select one of 16million colours or set the wall mounted control to automatically fade between each colour, in a total cycle time ranging from 30seconds to 2hours. Units are extruded in 900 and 1200mm lengths and all operate from a remote gear housing. Finish: Natural full bright anodize.

Following the product's launch at 100% Design London, the system was to successfully roll out globally across both residential and commercial applications.
