New floor-light released: The Turbinator

Skinflint are never afraid of a challange and converting this incredible 1950's floor-lamp from a hair-dryer called 'The Turbinator' into the gorgeous functional work of art now available on the site was just that.

Manufactured by WL Martin Ltd of Birmingham it has some beautiful detailing, including lovely deco inspired castings on it's base and a switch plate which reads 'Warmer for Winter Use' and "Cooler for summer'
 

All in all it's a rare find and is now a truely beautiful floor light.
